So, Easter was a fun day. As usual, in the afternoon, we went to "Mimi's" house (that is my mom for those of you who don't know). Every year we have an egg hunt at her house, using plastic eggs (most of which she supplies) filled with all the change (again most of which she supplies) collected over the past year. Some eggs actually have dollar bills in them. This year one had a five and one had a ten. And then of course there is the GOLDEN EGG! It is a very special egg. It is a rather large egg with gold foil around it and special pretty "toile" paper on the inside. The GOLDEN EGG has a TWENTY DOLLAR BILL in it! All the grandkids (from now on referred to as "the boys" since there are 7 grandsons and no girls-yet) go crazy trying to be the one to find that GOLDEN EGG! Well, this year Grayson was determined that he was going to find it since he had never found it in his "whole life". He talked me into helping him find it, which meant that it had to be hidden from me too (I usually help hide it). My sister, Cyndi, hid it in what she thought would be the most obvious place to look, because she wanted it to be found right away so they wouldn't be tackling each other to get to it. She thought wrong! They just passed right over it several times never even noticing the old ice cooler. The three older boys were so funny scrambling around for that thing! All the other eggs had been found and they were looking everywhere, but in the cooler. Finally, finally, Grayson saw it and started to lift the lid. After he began to lift the lid, Brandon ran over and tried to take over like he was the first one to think of it! Oh my my my!!! Was Grayson ever excited and was Brandon ever mad! (He got over it of course, but Grayson is still rubbing it in and Brandon doesn't like that.) So, here is the picture of Grayson and his GOLDEN EGG. (By the way, he also got the five and 2 ones. All total he got $58! He was a lucky bunny.)

Next year we won't have to worry about who finds the Golden egg, since everyone has offically found it!

That is too funny!!! I would have loved to be there to see his face when he found it!
