Hardee's contribution to the demoralization of children.

So, yesterday at school some girls ran up to me at recess to tattle about a child who was "french kissing" a pole and a tree. What?! First of all these are third graders. Why do they even know what french kissing means? And they weren't the ones that I would expect to know what french kissing is. The child who was doing the "french kissing" is an innocent child also. He rarely speaks of watching anything other than PBS shows. So, when approaching him about it, he immediately knew that what he did was inappropriate. I didn't even have to ask what he did. He totally spout off the events to me exactly as the girls related it to me. So, when I asked him where he had seen something like this guess what his answer was? "A Hardee's commercial." OH MY! Now I don't know if there is a Hardee's commercial with someone french kissing trees and poles. I highly doubt it, this kid has a vivid imagination anyway. But, what I do know is that since Paris Hilton's "hot" Hardee's commercial, the company has produced several of what I deem inappropriate advertisements. Now I know that it is not news to hear someone complain about the sexualization of our nation through television and movies. It just irks me that I can't even trust that my child can sit and watch a show that I deem appropriate, without having to worry about whether he is going to see a Hardee's commercial! Argh!!!
